From the lightest to the coarsest, we present to you a range of wines that are characteristic of our soil, and of our grape varieties.
Our red wines do not undergo fine filtration to preserve the integrity of their gustatory qualities. They are only protected by a limited quantity of sulfites, and can be kept for a few years.
This is a relatively light and fruity wine, that nonetheless has character. Spicy and easy to drink, it can be savoured daily.
Serve it slightly fresh (around 14°C), with simple everyday meals. Drink it during the year following its purshase, it does not benefit from ageing.
This is a typical Merlot, with an intense ruby red colour. Its aromas contain hints of blackcurrants and leather.
Think of decanting it right before serving, or a few hours before.
A perfect companion to a gizzard salad, pizza, pork pieces, or any summer meal.
This easy-to-drink wine has a peppery nose, with aromas of violet and peony. It has tastes of licorice, and develops strawberry aromas. The spices of Grenache hamonise perfectly with the richness and typical violet taste of the Syrah.
This wine is perfect with lamb or pork pieces.
CUVÉE D'ALPHONSE 2014
It is a deep wine with a smocket bouquet. Its scent reminds of leather, tobacco and violets. Its taste is peppery, with aromas of blueberry and blackcurrant...
Try it with red meats, cheese, boar...
CABERNET SAUVIGNON 2012
It has a smoky nose with aromas of sweet peppers and blackcurrants.
Rich in the mouth, it holds aromas of coffee grounds and cherries in alcohol.
This intense red, full-bodied wine can be paired for example with a piece of rare beef, preferably after decanting it.
"CUVÉE TRACE-NÈGRE" 2015
Generous, full-bodied, and warm, it develops surprising spicy aromas of licorice, raspberries, and peony. Served slightly freshened (14°C), it is a perfect companion to grilled or whites meats.
SYRAH"LA SOUCHE" 2014
Its bouquet contains hints of violet, elderberry, dark fruits, cocao and licorice. It is rich, round, and smoky in the mouth.
This wine has macerated 4 weeks under marc, then was raised 9 months in oak barrels. It is a wine is meants to be kept. If you have enough space and patience, wait at least until 2018 to drink it. It should even keep getting better until 2023, as the 2000 vintage remained excellent 12 or 13 years later !
If you drink it before its 6th birthday, decant it before serving in order to oxygenate it.
CUVÉE FERDINAND 2014
This wine was raised in oak barrels, which gives it a pleasant roudness and suppleness.
Rich and delicate, it smells of cocoa and ripe fruits. Its taste has an aftermouth of licorice and pepper.
It can be kept, but can also already be enjoyed with stew, or bourguignon beef.
